IDELIX launches Small Independent Software Vendor (ISV) program
Mission Critical Unmanned Services first partner to take advantage of new IDELIX program making Pliable Display Technology (PDT) accessible to all software producers

April 5, 2006 - Vancouver, BC - IDELIX Software Inc. announced today the launch of its Small Independent Software Vendor (ISV) program at CANSEC 2006 in Ottawa, ON. Mission Critical Unmanned Services of Vancouver was the first of IDELIX's partners to take advantage of the new program, which makes the company's Pliable Display Technology (PDT) more accessible to all software vendors. PDT is a compelling user-interface technology that allows users to find, organize, layer, and interact with on-screen information more effectively. PDT has widespread application on devices from PCs to smart phones.

"We created the Small ISV program to ensure that the benefits of PDT are available in software applications developed by companies of all sizes and in all markets," said IDELIX President, Keith Ippel. "Small ISVs asked for a simpler licensing option, and that's what this program provides."

"As use of UAVs becomes increasingly prevalent, so does the need for intuitive analysis tools to make sense of the data they provide," says Sean Randle, Manager, Mission Critical Unmanned Services. "PDT helps to complete our product offering, and the new pricing helps to alleviate the pains of excessive red-tape surrounding licensing. We can build the system and get it out the door faster."

The Small ISV program simplifies PDT development and licensing fees. Small ISVs are broken into two categories - those with under US$50 Million in revenue and those with under US$20M in revenue. The Small ISV program will provide each category with a license to prototype and develop with the IDELIX SDK, as well as a license to include PDT within commercial products. One annual fee will cover licensing for both development and commercial product sales. In addition to consolidating pricing, the IDELIX Small ISV program includes more options for support of partners' development work and end product promotion.
