The PDT Lens

The PDT lens can be used on a variety of data sets, including raster and vector images. Choose your data set and see how the lens provides high-resolution detail in the context of a lower-resolution image.

MDLC Lens Controls by IDELIX

PDT lens & cursors
Manipulate the Lens using the Modular Design Lens Control (MDLC) handles and slider. The lens magnification, position (click and drag), and size can be interactively manipulated using the following controls appearing within the user interface.

Adjust the Size of the Lens. The focal region and base sizes can be changed by clicking and dragging the respective handles that surround the focal and base regions.

Fold the Lens. Click on the focal region boundary and drag the focal region to obtain a folding effect.

Add/Remove the Lens. Click on the Add/Remove button on the toolbar, and view the entire dataset in an undistorted state. Reapply the lens by clicking on this button again.
