Purpose of Job: Manage the lat49 Dev team

Overview
We're growing quickly and are looking for a talented Development Manager to lead a small team of developers building out our innovative online ad-serving platform. Education

• Bachelor's degree in related field or relevant combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Delivers high quality software products on time and on budget that meet the organization's needs
• Plans and schedules of software development projects, milestones and deadlines
• Develops standards and procedures for the development team
• Provides architectural and technical guidance to development team
• Ensures sound design, process and quality practices are followed
• Evaluates new or enhanced technologies
• Provides feedback and training to members of the development team, conducts performance reviews and assists with recruitment and selection

Required Skills and Experience

• Solid understanding and appreciation of Web2.0 technologies
• Strong technical skills and experience with PHP, My SQL, Python and front-end web technologies including CSS, HTML, Javascript / AJAX
• 3+ years of experience managing a team of 5-10 developers
• Knowledge of agile methods like SCRUM
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Success at initiating and completing development projects with responsibilities in all phases of development.
